Those Silly Brayton Girls

Meet the Brayton Girls. Sarah, Megan and Kathryn.

The funnest day I have ever had doing a photoshoot. They were fun, goofy, easy going and just ridiculous.
Megan was the silliest I have ever seen her and the other two played off her silliness. Sarah was actually pretty sick, such a trooper... and ya can't even tell in the pictures!

The bond between these three girls is incredible. They way they talk to each other and look out for each other, I'm so proud of them.

You rock girls!

Business Cards!!

Tweaked the business cards a little... Debating whether or not to put facebook and email on there... The website has a facebook link and a contact me form that also has my email, but do more people just want to look at facebook nowadays? Ughhh. Hahaha.

Also, I was very excited to add Chelsea Zerwekh to my business cards.

It's been awhile since my last posting... just over a month I believe. I can't believe how many crazy things have been in that short amount of time!

But mostly importantly, I'm back and ready for action!

Golly Gee Photography

I have to admit. I did not come up with this wonderful photography name all by myself.

I knew I wanted a good, solid name for my photography stuff. But finding one proved to be quite the stressful task. I had always had just used my name for anything I did... but now that I was making it into a professional business, I really wanted something that would capture me and would also stand out. Because, I mean, there's gotta be like 50 million other Chelsea's in the world. And about half of those "doing photography."

I needed a name that wasn't already taken.. and everything I thought of was.

So I recruited my sisters.

We spent so much time throwing names back and forth and then checking them on google and go daddy to see if they were taken. And we came up with some pretty good ones too! (wish I still had the list of them...) And they all were. Each and everyone of them. And mind you, we all stressed over this for about a week.

And then, one night as I was talking to my boyfriend, Justin (start learning his name now.. hahaha) about how much I was really stressing out over it and that I couldn't go any further until I had a really good name.

And what does he do?

The first thing out of his mouth.

               "How about Golly Gee Photography?"

I wanted to punch him. How come I didn't think of that?! It was so perfect!

But then I got sad. "It's probably taken."

But I checked anyway and no way! It wasn't taken! And so the next day I bought the domain and started a facebook page for it.

(good enough for now I guess... unless anyone's got a suggestion??)

The Makes Of A Really Good Blog...

Well, we'll see about that.... Hahaha.

Sooo, this is me ^^^

Super bored one day while waiting for my boyfriend to get home from work. Definitely used that as my "About The Photographer" picture.

Everyone says that as a photographer, I should start a blog. It's to show my personality, or communicate with past, present and future clients or probably a million different other things. Hahha.

Soooo, after taking all that in... I've decided to write a blog to document the start up of my photography business and career. Sounds good, right? Just bare with me a little.

(I think I need a better signing off thing.. or do I even need one? Stupid blog, I know nothing about you...)
